As a DEI Support Associate, you will be reporting to the Managing Director, Human Resources helping to assist in developing, implementing and supporting programs to further Bridge’s DEI mission. The primary responsibilities include managing and coordinating a variety of department projects, activities, reports, schedules, and data management.

  • You will collaborate with MD HR, DEI Committee, ERGs, and other vendors to enable meaningful connection, communications, and support for deliverables and a meaningful employee experience. 
  • You will develop and manage a comprehensive portfolio of relationships among local, regional, and national external diversity-related organizations to develop strategic partnerships throughout the CRE industry.
  • You will utilize benchmark and research of DEI best practices and metrics to monitor and evaluate Bridge's DEI progress against goals.
  • You will collaborate with HR/talent acquisition to recruit diverse talent at universities and colleges on campus.
  • You will sit in on ERG leader meetings as needed and share context with the broader ERG support team.

What you should bring

  • You should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience plus one to three years of related experience supporting DEI initiatives.
  • You should have strong oral and written communication skills are necessary to interact diplomatically with diverse groups of people, exchange information, and produce written correspondence.
  • You should have a foundational knowledge about cultural competency across multiple communities, racial and gender justice issues, and inclusion concepts like intersectionality is required.
  • You should be well-organized, detail-oriented, goal-driven, and confirmed ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with a positive attitude, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • You should be able to effectively use various computer programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Project, and other applications, including web-based tools.
