As Director, Renewable Energy Solutions, you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process.  This makes you instrumental in explaining the value proposition of Bridge Solar to commercial building owners.  Additionally, Bridge’s leadership position within the industry means you will be expected to build and leverage senior level relationships with the largest commercial real estate owners in the country to drive business for the fund.  In this role you will:

  • Convert leads provided by senior leadership into business opportunities
  • Serve as a liaison between product experts and potential sales opportunities
  • Create and present executive level materials to generate momentum as well as detailed materials that will be utilized by the principals of the deal
  • Create a sales plan that balances probability of sale with size of the opportunity
  • Present to key stakeholders on a regular basis as well as to investors
  • Network internally with executives to assist in developing contacts to be used for sales leads

What you should bring

  • 8 or more years of experience within real estate and/or energy with 5+ years of experience within a sales role.
  • Strong network within real estate and/or renewable energy industry communities across the country.
  • Proven ability to develop new relationships and leverage existing relationships at a senior level.
  • Capable of understanding and explaining complex financial arrangements in simplified terms
  • Superb presentation, research, and communication skills.
  • Passion for investing in and working with the renewable energy marketplace to be part of the climate solution.
  • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred but not required.
  • Passion for helping the real estate industry drive to carbon neutrality with physical and technological investment a plus.

Bridge is launching a strategy to invest in renewable energy infrastructure -including solar power generating assets.  We believe Bridge can be a leading renewables investor, powered by our deep knowledge of markets and assets, and we have partnered with a software and advanced analytics firm, Lumen Energy, in this effort. Our target investments will emphasize small to medium size solar PV investments on buildings, car ports and related facilities, for asset classes across the real estate spectrum (including retail, office, multifamily and industrial).  This effort will help the firm accomplish major ESG initiatives and be part of the solution for climate change. Our partnership with Lumen gives us access to differentiated technology and a competitive advantage.

We expect to commit meaningful balance sheet capital and have targeted a substantial third-party capital raise for this strategy.  We look forward to more fully sharing our vision and information on our current activities with qualified candidates.
